Turning Your Ideas Into Reliable Products from Concept to Production.
DFM – Design for Manufacturing
We understand the importance of manufacturability. Our Manufacturing Feasibility Engineering team reviews each project from multiple perspectives. We believe the earlier we get involved, the greater the value — our team supports your product from the concept design stage to ensure it is manufacturable and efficient.
Design Analysis from Concept to Manufacturing
We update our analyses throughout the entire product design refinement process and follow our standard procedures until a complete and reliable report is delivered for manufacturing.
Geometry & Wall Thickness
Material shrinkage analysis, wall thickness optimization, rib and post design evaluation — uniform filling and sink-free parts by design.
Draft & Demolding Analysis
Draft angles, undercuts and demolding paths checked against cavity layout to guarantee smooth ejection and stable cycles.
Parting Line Design
Parting line positioning optimized along the part silhouette — clean cavity/core separation for smooth ejection and minimal post-molding work.
Gate & Runner Design
Gate location and runner system design for balanced filling, good appearance and minimal post-molding work.
Ejector System Design
Ejection layout matched to part geometry and material behavior — no distortion, no white stress marks, no stuck parts.
Cooling System Design
Cooling channel layout balanced between cavity and core sides — short, even cycles and stable part quality.
Tolerance & Assembly Checks
Critical dimensions and mating interfaces reviewed against your assembly drawings to guarantee first-time fit.
Mold Manufacturing Feasibility
Mold base structure, cavity and core layout and steel selection reviewed before cutting — a tool that is practical to build, run and maintain.
Advanced Digital Analysis
We leverage the latest digital tools to analyze and verify every mold and product. When needed, we perform moldflow, simulation, and fluid or aerodynamic analyses. Our approach relies on data to anticipate and solve potential issues — not on guesswork or past experience.
Designing Manufacturing for Success
To ensure a smooth transition from mold design to mass production, manufacturing is engineered as a system, not handled as isolated steps. We operate with a dedicated manufacturing engineering structure that integrates process planning, automation, and execution control from the very beginning.
Our team of over 40 engineers brings together hardware and software expertise, enabling coordinated decisions across tooling, processing, automation, and production flow. This integrated approach allows risks to be addressed early and manufacturing intent to remain consistent through scale-up.
When you work with us, you gain more than machining capacity. You gain a full-chain manufacturing partner built for deep collaboration and long-term production success.

Engineering Support FAQ
How our DFM review, moldflow analysis and design validation work — before steel is cut.
What is DFM and what do I get from it?
DFM (Design for Manufacturing) is our engineering review of your part and mold before any steel is cut. You receive a written report with risk flags and improvement suggestions covering wall thickness, draft, parting lines, gate and runner design, ejection, cooling, tolerances and assembly fit — so problems are solved on screen instead of on the tool.
Is the DFM review free of charge?
The first DFM review is free and returned within 24 hours of receiving your drawing or sample. Deeper work such as moldflow simulation, fluid or aerodynamic analysis and design-of-experiment studies is quoted case by case, and we will always confirm the scope before starting.
What file formats can you work from?
STEP, IGES, Parasolid, SolidWorks, UG/NX, DXF and PDF drawings are all accepted — and a physical sample works too if no 3D data exists, since we can reverse-engineer it into a full 3D model and mold design.
Which analyses do you run?
Standard analysis covers material shrinkage, wall thickness optimization, draft and demolding checks, parting line design, gate and runner systems, ejector layout, cooling circuits, tolerance and assembly checks and surface-finish feasibility for painting, silk-screen printing and electroplating. When the risk justifies it we add moldflow filling, packing and warpage simulation, or fluid and aerodynamic analysis.
Can you verify a design before cutting steel?
Yes. We have our own 3D printing and prototyping equipment to validate product and mold solutions quickly, and the 3D mold design is issued for your sign-off with cooling, gating and ejection details before machining starts. This keeps trial-and-error at the press to a minimum and protects your tooling budget.
How do you choose the right resin for my part?
We run engineering resins from BASF, SABIC, DuPont and LG Chem — including ABS, PC, PA, PBT, POM, PPS, PEEK, PEI and TPE/TPU. Selection is driven by mechanical and thermal requirements, chemical exposure, tolerance, surface finish and cost, and a material certificate is provided for every lot.
How involved do I need to be during the project?
A dedicated engineer is assigned to every project as your single point of contact for DFM feedback, design changes and live production updates. You always know what is happening and what comes next — from concept design through mold design approval, trials and production release.
